Blue Scope Media ("we", "us") is a video and photo production company based in Vancouver, British Columbia, with crews in Vancouver and Toronto. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it and the choices you have.

What we collect

Contact details you give us, such as your name, email address, phone number and company name, when you fill out a form on our website, submit a lead form on Facebook or Instagram, book a call or email us.

Project details you share, such as the type of content you're planning, your timeline, your location and your budget range.

Website usage information, such as pages visited, device and browser type, and how you arrived at our site. This is collected with cookies and similar tools, including the Meta Pixel and our website platform's analytics.

How we use it

To reply to your enquiry, schedule calls and prepare proposals and quotes.

To send the resources you request, such as our budget guide, and occasional follow-up emails about our services. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.

To understand how people use our website and improve it.

To show relevant ads on Facebook and Instagram and measure how they perform. This can include sharing hashed (encrypted) contact details with Meta to build advertising audiences, or to exclude existing clients from ads.

We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

We use trusted service providers to run our business. They process information on our behalf and only for the purposes above: Squarespace (website hosting), Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram lead forms, advertising and measurement), Calendly (call booking), Zoom (video calls) and Brevo (email).

Some of these providers store information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to local laws.

Cookies and advertising choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can control the ads you see on Facebook and Instagram in your Meta Ad Preferences. Blocking cookies may affect how parts of our website work.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and client information for as long as needed to respond, deliver our services and meet our legal and accounting obligations, then delete or anonymise it.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw consent to marketing at any time. Email us and we'll respond within 30 days.
